Description Simeon Walker 2003-10-14 11:17:05 UTC
This started happening the first time I re-started X after having emerge the
latest gnome 2.4 packages a couple of days ago (the day with ORBit-2.8.2 etc).

When tried from a shell the error is:

sim@milliways:~>nautilus
Bonobo accessibility support initialized
GTK Accessibility Module initialized
Atk Accessibilty bridge initialized

** ERROR **: file nautilus-directory.c: line 546 (add_to_hash_table): assertion
failed: (g_hash_table_lookup (directory->details->file_hash,
file->details->relative_uri) == NULL)
aborting...
Bonobo accessibility support initialized
GTK Accessibility Module initialized
Atk Accessibilty bridge initialized
application finalize called
sim@milliways:~>

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge very latest gnome 2.4 stuff
2. restart X
3. open gnome-terminal and try to start nautilus

At first nautilus was stored in my session along with many other
programs/utilities. Now gnome starts with just the panel and only the clock and
pager applets running and the problem is still there.

I am running kernel 2.6.0test7 though I don't think this is relevant as nautilus
has been running fine.

what's nautilus-2.4.0_p1-r1 ? that version isn't in portage.

you are using non-supported breakmygentoo ebuilds. you should not report
bugs with those ebuilds to us.

I thought I had completely replaced the bmg versions of the gnome stuff,
my apologies!
