If you however lick on the mentioned link (see field URL) you'll redirected to a forum thread about another topic. Furthermore I'm wondering whether it is spam.

Actually, that link is to a post, not a topic. What has happened is:

1. A spammer has replied to your topic.
2. A topic reply notification has been sent out.
3. The spam post has been split off to a new topic in the dustbin.
4. You follow the link to the spam post which is now in another topic.
5. Confusion.

Not a bug, closing as invalid.
