digikam 1.1.0 fails to load libkexiv2.so.7 (kde-base/libkexiv2-4.3.5) / kde-4.3.5. This issue prevents to load contents of each album. Was working fine on digikam-0.10.0. Google pointed to update to kde 4.4.0 but this one is still masked (~x86 keyword). Errors from .xsession-errors kdeinit4: preparing to launch /usr/lib/kde4/kio_file.so kdeinit4: preparing to launch /usr/lib/kde4/kio_file.so kdeinit4: preparing to launch /usr/lib/kde4/kio_digikamdates.so Could not open library '/usr/lib/kde4/kio_digikamdates.so'. Cannot load library /usr/lib/kde4/kio_digikamdates.so: (/usr/lib/libkexiv2.so.7: undefined symbol: _ZN8QMapData10createDataEi) if any one was able to use version 1.1.0 on kde 4.3.5? Reproducible: Always
Please re-emerge kde-base/libkexiv2 and try again.
Hello, Tried that one before bug report. Until You mention any unstable version of it? (currently I'm at wok so can't access my gentoo desktop - I'll check on couple hours and add additional information - including emerge info).

ok, you are some kind of magician ? or do kde / digikam is somehow caching libs ? I did (restart of my linux box and) emerge --sync and then recompiled kde-base/libkexiv2 (4.3.5 - same version) and digikam (0.10.0 again same version) and it is working now. Changing status to fixed.
