Can I see the output of emerge --info, please?

I also have the same problem. Remerging Apache2 fixes the libapr problem, but then the mod_dav_svn.so linking issue comes up. Output for my failed ebuild is identical to that already reported. I can provide the output of emerge --info if you would like.
I ran ebuild /usr/portage/dev-util/subversion/subversion-0.31.0.ebuild install, after running fetch, unpack, and compile and found that the file /usr/lib/apache2/mod_dav_svn.so never gets built during the compile process. This is the cause of the failure.
No it gets build initially, but fails to be installed properly. It has to do with stupid libtool. Libtool doesn't really like DESTDIR settings like we use. I just committed a version that hopefully does work better. Please try it.
thanks paul, latest cvs works for me.
Ok, then I consider this fixed
Works for me, too. Thanks Paul!
