Description Mike White 2003-10-13 03:56:29 UTC
I have tried running genkernel, genkernel --config, and running make
menuconfig. I have tried multiple times with each. I always get a segmentation
fault. Genkernel always stops at making bzImage.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.run genkernel
2.run genkernel --config
3.make menuconfig

Actual Results:
segmentation fault and genkernel stops at making bzImage

Expected Results:
compiled kernel

using Gentoo 1.4. Date is 20030911.

try another source-tree, then start looking for memory/hardware problems.
genkernel run "make bzImage" exactly like you would from the command line

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
