I updated world, which upgraded net-misc/wicd to 1.7.0. After the update, wicd-client is no longer present on my system. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Update net-misc/wicd to 1.7.0. 2. Try to run wicd-client. 3. updatedb and locate wicd-client returns only some pages in /usr/share/man
Check your USE flags. net-misc/wicd-1.7.0 has X & gtk use flags that must be set if you want the gtk+ gui (wicd-client).
Thanks, that fixes it. An einfo in postinst() noting the required USE changes would've been nice :)
