I used kopete for quite some time. "Very suddenly" Kopete 0.7.2 started crashing when I start typing text into the IM dialog. I am now running 0.7.3 but the same thing is happening. Created attachment 19104 [details] Kopete crash trace
Quite possibly a bug with gcc 3.3 compilation. I recommend you bug report this to the kopete folks and see if they know more.
I'll wait on reporting to the kopete folks. I recently downgraded my system from ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" to ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="" so I probably have all kinds of library/dependancy issues. Mark
so what's the current status of this?
please try kopete-0.7.4
