Hello,

It looks like we haven't been able to hit your mirror in about a month.  When trying to sync from it, I get the following:

@ERROR: failed to open lock file
rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1506) [Receiver=3.0.7]

Could you please look into the configuration on your side and let us know?

I have removed this mirror from the country rotation.  It wasn't in the continent rotation.

Please let us know when you'll be able to look into this issue and let us know what's going on.  Thanks

Removed rsync4.jp.gentoo.org from ACLs, removed from DNS. Thanks for the hardware and bandwidth donation, your services helped many Gentoo Users. (You have no more obligation to monitor the gentoo-mirrors mailing list.)
