Description Ben Torkington 2010-03-07 07:02:09 UTC
Some distfiles mirrors have copies of this file that are 124506101 bytes when the Manifest file lists it as 125785026 bytes, causing repeated fetch attempts due to size mismatch.

found a similar issue reported on NetBSD mailing list.
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/pkgsrc-bugs/2010/02/14/msg036201.html

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.attempt emerge again

Actual Results:
Fetch fails, file is renamed and fetch is attempted again, usually unsuccessfully.

Expected Results:
The file size and checksums would match, and fetch would be successful.

Repeated attempts seem to have found a mirror hosting the correct sized file. This download is still in progress while this bug is reported.

kde-base/kdebase-runtime-meta cannot be built without this.

Comment 2 Ben Torkington 2010-03-07 07:07:27 UTC
The fetch attempt that (luckily) got the correct filesize failed on checksum,
a subsequent attempt was made, but that hit a mirror with the incorrectly sized file.

It seems correct here, probably you hit bad mirror
