Lightning is a calendar extension for Mozilla Thunderbird. Thunderbird 3 was recently marked stable, but the Lightning version 0.9 which is in portage blocks Thunderbird 3. Please bump Lightning to 1.0 beta 1 which is considered as the currently most stable version.

Lightning is not built at same time as thunderbird, enable lightning useflag on tb-3 and you will have it.
