SYNDRV_VER should be bumped
.8 includes 2.6.0-beta6 support.

Also the download url changed to

Uhm. They changed the TOP variable in the synaptics Makefile from
TOP = /usr/src/redhadt/BUILD/XFree-4.2.0/xc
to
TOP = Xincludes/xc

The new synaptics version will build independently from xfree, so there's
going to be an ebuild in the tree for it as soon as I have time (probably
next week), and it's probably going to get pulled from regular xfree.

0.11.8 is in the ebuild now, and as of 4.3.99.15 and 4.3.0-r4 it will be
pulled in externally if INPUT_DRIVERS="synaptics" in the environment or make.conf.
The ebuild's in the tree now as x11-misc/synaptics.
