I've two machines running gentoo: one is alpha(ds10) another is sparc SunFire 
v100. On both offset is about 200-300ms poll does not go over 64, is this poor 
synchronization quality is normal with 2.4 kernel? (I remember that under 2.2 
on alpha it was pretty better)
