Since the Mayavi Ebuild unconditionally installs with wx support (see bug #288283), it should depend on dev-python/traitsgui[wxwidgets]. Recompiling traitsgui with wxwidgets support made the errors pasted below go away. When installed with qt4 support, Mayavi also needs to depend on dev-python/traitsgui[qt4]. I'm not sure what to make of the qt4 error (see below), Mayavi certainly didn't behave particularly well (e.g., the embedded IPython shell was broken). Perhaps the Qt4 error is worthy of it's own report? I might do some more testing tomorrow, if I find the time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.
