Hi, I ran an emerge -uDN world today. The system is stable x86. dev-python/sip was upgraded from 4.9.3-r1 to 4.10. net-print/hplip was upgraded from 3.9.10 to 3.9.12-r1. When the update was completed, I logout and login to check the hp-systray status. I think this is directly caused by bad stabilization in... http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=301105#c3 where all of the pkgs should have went stable together

However the reporter hasn't followed the instructions that sip-4.10 prints in pkg_postinst(), i.e. recompile PyQt4.
In a binary distro you have no choice but to downgrade, but in Gentoo you should have re-emerged PyQt4, as the pkg_postinst message says. It seems to work on my system. Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. >>> from PyQt4.QtCore import * >>> Sorry for the problem.
