emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "app-admin/partgui:0".

* revdep-rebuild failed to emerge all packages.
* you have the following choices:
 * - If emerge failed during the build, fix the problems and re-run revdep-rebuild.
 * - Use /etc/portage/package.keywords to unmask a newer version of the package.
 * (and remove 5_order.rr to be evaluated again)
 * - Modify the above emerge command and run it manually.
 * - Compile or unmerge unsatisfied packages manually,
 * remove temporary files, and try again.
 * (you can edit package/ebuild list first)
 * To remove temporary files, please run:
 * rm /var/cache/revdep-rebuild/*.rr

here's two sets of mirrors i switch between; both are missing the ebuild.

partgui got removed because it depends on qt3, which is no longer supported.

ohhh. thanks for letting me know.

was it hardmasked; aren't packages supposed to be hardmasked prior to removal?

i don't see it in any of my unmasks, nor do i recall reading any eselect news releases or anything of the sort.

i'll unmerge it though. thanks for the heads up.

Comment 5 brent 2010-03-01 09:22:30 UTC
aha! i even searched for partgui in bugzilla, too. seems i forgot to check for closed bugs as well. :)
