Chromium 5.0.307.9 is unable to render the following URL when it is typed or copied and pasted into the address bar: ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/ Chromium just says "sending request" and nothing ever happens. I recall this affecting Chromium 4 on gentoo as well. Chrome 4 on Windows Vista is able to render the URL with no issues.
