Emerging libdvb: ... !!! File is corrupt or incomplete. (Digests do not match) >>> our recorded digest: aa4a7504b279c0ca1b8c5f8ebbcb35fb >>> your file's digest: 1a293f072e2280c8910c7cd745b79441 !!! File does not exist: /usr/portage/distfiles//libdvb-0.5.0.tar.gz Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge libdvb 2. 3.
Md5sum of the file on mirrors matches that of the file you download from the original source link so either the digest file is bad or more likely the guys at the source has repackage the tar package without renaming it. Evidence pointing in that direction is that the homepage contains an entry say it was updated on aug 29.
Lordvan, looks like that's right. Could you check if there were updates and do the revision bump if necessary? I don't have the old tarball.

great, wrong group too # emerge -s libdvb * media-video/libdvb Latest version available: 0.5.0 Latest version installed: [ Not Installed ] Size of downloaded files: 249 kB * media-libs/libdvb Latest version available: 0.2.3 Latest version installed: [ Not Installed ] Size of downloaded files: 62 kB and in ${PORTDIR}/profiles/updates/* move media-video/libdvb media-libs/libdvb move media-video/linuxtv-dvb media-tv/linuxtv-dvb move media-video/dvb-mpegtools media-video/libdvb
I dug around this and it seems upstream recreated the tarball but didn't bump the version. They seemed to have fixed what the DVB.cc patch was doing. In any case, I have a new local cleaner ebuild ready. Thomas, do you mind if I commit it to media-libs and do away with media-video/libdvb? Looks like the only ebuild that looks at media-video/libdvb is: media-video/vlc/vlc-0.6.2.ebuild This can be easily fixed. Any objections?
max, please complete the move into media-libs for this.
Fixed in cvs and consolidated to media-video.
