Description Benedikt Reinartz 2010-02-24 12:24:03 UTC
It just seems weird that there exists mozilla-thunderbird{,-bin}, where the binary of the latter is called /usr/bin/thunderbird-bin, while the firefox packages are called mozilla-firefox and firefox-bin, where the binary of both is called /usr/bin/firefox.

I think one should either drop the mozilla- prefix completely or at least move firefox-bin to mozilla-firefox-bin. Also I'd really like to start thunderbird with it's name rather than this mysterious -bin-suffix.

Reproducible: Always

The naming changes are already in the works. It will not be much longer and everything will use its proper name instead of mozilla-.
