Description Patrick Kursawe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-08 02:43:11 UTC
Could libprelude maybe go stable? It keeps back nessus-2.0.7-r1 which includes some patches for prelude support and depends on libprelude when USE=prelude.
Comment 1 solar (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-08 09:57:34 UTC
Yeah it probably can go stable as long as all its depends are in the stable
tree, but I cant jump on that one right away.

However I encourage you to test and even mark stable (I spend 95% of my time
in ~arch).
On another note we have got some new releases of libprelude and prelude-*
that need to be put in the portage tree. I'll try get those added in the
next day or so as ~arch.

Ok, since 0.8.5-r1 is considered stable, we should close this.

Patrick,

New prelude submissions are still pending upon mboman@gentoo.org
He does not have +w on cvs so I more or less act as the mediator, while he
is the true maintainer. I suppose sooner or later he will get the new versions
to me.
