pymol-plugins-cealign-0.9 wants to downgrade pymol to 1.2.2. Is this intended? Because if it is I'll downgrade pymol happily. Reproducible: Always
This is intended as upstream stated that cealign will be included now in pymol directly. I am currently not really sure whether it is or not, so please downgrade to 1.2.2. The new version doesn't implement any big changes so you will not loose any functionality. I will try to make that clear ASAP.
Reopen to mark fixed.
I reviewed the upstream svn repo and it isn'Ät included yet, so happy testing of pymol-1.2.3.
Starting from a pymol-1.2.2-r4 and cealign-0.9 working combo, I upgraded pymol to the latest 1.2.3 in the tree. After that I tested cealign with the examples in http://www.pymolwiki.org/index.php/Cealign and the plugin works as expected. So I think it is not a bad idea to removed the 1.2.3 restriction for pymol as of now.
It is already removed.
(In reply to comment #5) > It is already removed. > Unfortunately the removal of pymol-1.2.3 from the tree and its substitution by 1.2.3-r1 breaks cealign DEPEND. It still wants to downgrade to a version lower than 1.2.3-r1. I can confirm cealign-0.9 works with pymol-1.2.3-r1 when you first install cealign and then update pymol.
Right should work now.
