Hi, I'm attaching new ebuild for cwtext utility. It is small program that converts plain text to Morse Code. It can convert to 'morse text' (like this: --.-.), audio or MorseMail format. Robert.

How widely is this used ? I'm not exactly sure if Morse Code is a text-markup language :) but anyhow, your ebuild looks generally okay. Except I note you've changed the copyright. Are you not prepared for your ebuild to be placed under Gentoo Linux ?
I don't know how widely it is used. It's just type of app "look, what my computer can do". ;-) I think it will be easy to maintain this ebuild, so why not add it to portage. I don't know if text-markup is right class for this ebuild. I didn't assigned it to this. Maybe app-misc should be better place. I'm little bit confused about copyrights now. Please see this comments (http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27754#c6). But it's no problem to change it. Robert
The best solution is probably to the share the copyright, as with in the bug you linked. Yes, it does look quite easy to maintain and the project page shows some sort of life which is good. Text-markup might not be the right place as a herd for it, although it is a sort of text-conversion application, which could be argued is a markup, but the app-text category probably is. We'll assign text-markup as the maintainers though I think. I'll get onto it tonight. Thanks for commenting back and providing the link, makes things easier for us.

Comment on attachment 22393 [details, diff] Added kill command into waiting loop. Ooops, this is not belong here.
Created attachment 22963 [details] Changed copyright to Gentoo Ehm, I don't know why it take so long to adding this into portage. If it is copyright information I've changed it now.
Sorry for the delay. It is because we extremely lack human resource (there are only two members in text-markup herd, which is not exactly for these kinds of packages and we are filled with TeX and SGML/XML bugs). I hope you weren't displeased by the delay. We'll try to do the best as we can. Anyhow, I've just checked your ebuild and committed. Your ebuild looks fine and tidy. Also, I tried and enjoyed it a lot ;) Thanks for the contribution.
