This server is a p4 2.6ghz with 1GB RAM.
It is connected via 100mbit to the comindico backbone in Sydney.
Server IP is 203.17.15.14

Reproducible: Always

I've added 203.17.15.14 to the access list for rsync1.us.gentoo.org.
Please update your rsync cron jobs to point to rsync1.us.gentoo.org 
and post back here when you've done so.  We'll monitor the server 
for a couple days to make sure things are working fine.

Hi Peter, thanks. I have updated my cron job so it should now start syncing
with rsync1.us.gentoo.org every 30mins

Are the syncs set to occur at :00 and :30?  Syncing appears to be
happening at :50 and :20.

It was set to 00 and 30 but ive now changed it to 10 and 40 to compensate
for time-zone differences so it should sync at the correct times from now
on. I was unsure what GMT offset the master server would of been using.

This server is now rsync2.au.gentoo.org.  Please update the motd file to

include that information.

list (low volume).  This list is used to discuss mirror-related issues.
