Description Louis-Philippe 2010-02-17 14:24:56 UTC
I'm trying to "emerge -avDn world" and it ask me to emerge dev-libs/rasqal. I've never installer that before.

wmhost ~ # eix rasqal
* dev-libs/rasqal
     Available versions:  0.9.16 (~)0.9.17 {gmp pcre test xml}
     Homepage:            http://librdf.org/rasqal/
     Description: library that handles Resource Description Framework (RDF)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -auvDn world
2. Fail with error "/usr/lib64/libgssapi.la: No such file or directory"
Actual Results:
libtool: link: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-ranlib .libs/librasqal.a
/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib64/libgssapi.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `/usr/lib64/libgssapi.la' is not a valid libtool archive
make[2]: *** [librasqal.la] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/dev-libs/rasqal-0.9.17/work/rasqal-0.9.17/src'
make[1]: *** [all] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/dev-libs/rasqal-0.9.17/work/rasqal-0.9.17/src'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

Expected Results:
Emerge sucess or alternative, because i dont know if i really need rasqal...

Not a real bug, more like a broken system, some .la file in your system still has a reference to libgssapi.la.
