The documentation states that after installing x11-themes/gtk-engines-qtcurve, users will see the K Control Center Module Entry named GTK Styles and Fonts, but that packages does not add such entry. That entry is added by kde-misc/kcm_gtk. Maybe the change is KDE4 related? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. From a fresh KDE Installation (or an installation without kde-misc/kcm_gtk) install x11-themes/gtk-engines-qtcurve. 2. Open the K Control Center Module and look for the GTK Styles and Fonts entry. Actual Results: You won't find such entry Expected Results: According to the docs, the entry should be there. As mentioned above, the entry is added by kde-misc/kcm_gtk
We are going to remove kcm_gtk from main tree. Cause it is broken in 4.4 and there is no upstream interaction about it. So this bug is CANTFIX/WONTFIX.
reopening, it actually works good on 4.4.0 here
