See URL. Impossible to manage certificates for Chromium without certutil. Might be conditional on USE=ssl but frankly don't why not make this unconditional dependency.
Comment 1 Paweł Hajdan, Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-02-15 18:28:24 UTC
IMHO it's a WONTFIX. Chromium doesn't need nss utils to run. If you want to do cert management, the page already tells you what to emerge.

I'd prefer to keep the deps minimal, but I'm leaving the final decision to voyageur.
Comment 2 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2010-02-17 10:51:02 UTC
Hmm same opinion, especially as current support looks far from finished (after reading linked bugs). Once proper support is coded (both backend and UI), utils won't probably be necessary anyway as nss would be used directly.

Well, current certs management "support" on Linux pretty much sucks for $AVARAGE_USER. :P

Mkay, closing.
