Freedict is a collection of GPLd bilingual dictionaries. It would be really cool to have an ebuild for its cvs. Right now there are some (3) existing freedict ebuilds. But considering the size of current harddrives many people will be happy to have all of them at once. See also http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/freedict/ for a list of existing dictionaries.
I think that the concensus is that the CVS ebuilds are generally discouraged unless absolutely necessary. I don't think that we need one for freedict. Closing as WONTFIX. You can always keep the ebuild in a local portage tree for yourself. Thanks for the submission.
