To make work at 2.30 more feasible, we decided to change the roadmap a little bit. Doing a full official 2.29 release would have stressed the planning too much. We then can better skip that to enable the UI projects to start... So, sorry, no 2.29 but a 2.28c update, which still is interesting to have availabe for everyone: - Improved Metaball editing - Recursive environment maps - Radiosity rendering - Python API improvements http://download.blender.org/release/Blender228c/ Here you can find a file with demos as well. 18:08 < Pol_> erm, http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30467 18:08 < Pol_> is there source avaiable for 2.28c ? 18:09 < Michel_> nope 18:09 < Pol_> ha ... 18:09 < Pol_> and how to get it ? 18:09 < Michel_> cvs :) 18:09 < Pol_> ok If someone know how to make an ebuild of the cvs of Blender it would be very cool.
2.28c is now in portage, please close this one
seems one thing is missing in this ebuild : IUSE is empty but there is at least : blender-game? ( dev-games/ode ) sdl? ( media-libs/libsdl ) jpeg? ( media-libs/jpeg ) png? ( media-libs/libpng ) mozilla? ( net-www/mozilla ) truetype? ( >=freetype-2.0 ) fmod? ( media-libs/fmod ) also : blender-plugin blender-static shouldn't all those options be in the IUSE string ?
Is it possible to have an ebuild of the tohupu tree of Blender ?
please post an url about it and why you want it in another bug
ok will do it. In fact, the tohupuu tree includes every user patch, it is not well tested but it's always fun to see the latest patch and releases. For example, the tohupuu uses the new Blender UI :) it is not included in stable version but works in tohupuu :) Ciao -pol-
