Description solitarysock 2010-02-11 15:59:35 UTC
After a world update, sending signed or encrypted mail with mail-client/mozilla-thunderbird-2.0.0.23 and x11-plugins/enigmail-0.95.7-r5 failed with

Send operation aborted.

Error - encryption command failed

gpg command line and output:
/usr/bin/gpg --charset utf8 --batch --no-tty --status-fd 2 --comment 'Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org' -t --clearsign -u 0x61422D92 --use agent
gpg: problem with the agent: Not supported
gpg: skipped "0x61422D92": General error
gpg: [stdin]: clearsign failed: General error

Downgrading gnupg from 2.0.14 to 2.0.11 fixed the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.14, mail-client/mozilla-thunderbird-2.0.0.23 and x11-plugins/enigmail-0.95.7-r5
2. Try to send a signed or encrypted email

Actual Results:
Thunderbird gave me the above error. I have to send the email unsigned/unencrypted.

Expected Results:
Send a signed/encrypted email

ewarn "Please remember to restart gpg-agent if this if the agent"
ewarn "you are currently using. If you are unsure of the gpg "
ewarn "agent you are using please run \'killall gpg-agent\',"
ewarn "and to start a fresh daemon just run \'gpg-agent --daemon\'."

Did you ensure to complete the following task after upgrade?
