trying to forward (as attachments) some e-mails hits the error:

The server responded: "Error: Sending from an alias is not allowed. (header_checks/sh)"

attaching the e-mail causing the problem ...

hrm, it seems to be even worse than just forwarding messages ... replying to the enlightenment alias hits the same error ...

ok, nm the last two comments ... kmail would keep retrying my pending forwards and when the mail server barfed, it wouldnt process anything else.  i thought kmail would be a bit smarter than this, but i guess not.  temporarily archiving the forwards let the rest of the queue move out.

Robin has committed a fix and things work for me again.  thanks guys.
