Description Francesco Lamonica 2010-02-09 23:55:00 UTC
amarok plays the first song of playlist fine but then (or if i click on another song in the playlist before first one ended) the new song is selected, the tags are read correctly (same for song length) but then nothing happens, the cursor never moves from 0 seconds. If i try to Pause/UnPause or Stop/Play nothing changes.

Reproducible: Always

Same problem here, with amarok-2.2.0, amarok-2.2.2 and juk-4.3.3. If I wait some time (1 minute, 5 minutes, I don't see if it's a specific time) the song starts.

Have you run a complete rescan of the collection after the last update?
Also, what phonon version are you using and what backend(s)?

We need more info on this.

Yes, I ran a rescan of my music collection.

Phonon version stable, with kde-4.3.3. Gstreamer as backend.

It seems an odd problem...

phonon-4.3.50 ? If so, this might be the old phonon bug. You should try phonon-4.3.80-r1. We're in the process of requesting 4.3.5 be marked stable, so you may want to follow bug 300393 - it includes a package.keywords file.
