Please post your `emerge --info dev-util/intltool'.

dev-util/intltool is not installed in my system. I installed it for building geeqie and then removed. Remove dev-util/intltool and try to build geeqie.

p.s. a lot of packages in portage do not have pkg-config and intltool as build depend, but can not be compiled without one or both of this two packages.
