Because Opera and Skype are already using "qt-static", it doesn't make sense to invent yet another flag... So please rename it to qt-static local use flags (searching: qt-static) ************************************************************ [- ] qt-static (net-im/skype): Installs binaries statically linked to Qt [- ] qt-static (www-client/opera): Install binaries statically linked to Qt local use flags (searching: builtin-qt) ************************************************************ [- ] builtin-qt (media-sound/teamspeak-client-bin): use bundled builtin Qt instead of system-installed x11-libs/qt-gui.
hey, thanks for the notice, but I will drop this use-flag anyway as I had an email exchange with the upstream teamspeak developers and they stated that they strongly recommend using the package-provided qt-libs and do explicitely not support any other qt libraries. however, qt-static leads to false intention, from my point of view, qt-static sounds like the package in question is using a statically linked qt, which is would be wrong for teamspeak - I do not know the case for skype and friends however.
