what autoconf / automake tools version(s) have you installed ?
(17:08:39 Sat Oct 04 2003 jeremy@eradicator) ~ $ qpkg -I -v autoconf sys-devel/autoconf-2.57-r1 * app-doc/ebook-autoconf-2.53a * (17:08:48 Sat Oct 04 2003 jeremy@eradicator) ~ $ qpkg -I -v automake sys-devel/automake-1.7.5-r2 * app-doc/ebook-automake-1.7 * (17:08:54 Sat Oct 04 2003 jeremy@eradicator) ~ $ qpkg -I -v libtool sys-devel/libtool-1.4.3-r1 *
those seem normal, maybe unrelated but could you seriously downtune your CFLAGS and see if that is having an effect ?
I dont see the relevance of cflags, or the problem.
any helpful suggestions ?
Suppose you could give a shot with the different auto* versions probably installed (run manually or swap out in nextgen). A little puzzled as to why portage isnt passing normal nextgen output.
Newer versions of abiword are working for me, now... so I guess whatever it was is fixed...
