I just merged net-dialup/freeradius 0.9.0. it doesn't install the startup script in /etc/init.d. I had to manually copy it over. You also might consider upgrading the ebuild to 0.9.1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge net-dialup/freeradius 2. 3. Actual Results: Described above Expected Results: The script should have been installed, duh. :)
FreeRadius 0.9.2 is out and just renaming the ebuild works, so a version bump should be easy.
Does the install script get installed with the newer version?
I just emerge -u freeradius, as 0.9.3 is now in portage, and no, it still does not install the init script. qpkg -l freeradius, shows the directory /etc/init.d as part of the package, but no init script is ever placed there.
The copying of the init files should be fixed.
