Hi, Avi Schwartz has written up his experiences with LVM during a gentoo install. i think this would be a nice addition to the alternative installation guide - but then again evms is just around the corner... if i had the time i'd add it myself - but this has been laying on my desktop for the last few weeks :-( thanks Thilo

Arkane on the forums, has also written a guide for xml, http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=1897, so perhaps they could be merged, i'm going to guide him through .xml'ing his up, as i believe they can both be useful.
Zhware: I am not sure what to do with this. Take a look at it, and see if you can integrate it into the current docs. It is *really* out of date though. If it is too far out, just scrap it. Keep me posted. //ZhEN

LVM guide added.
The is a change that needs to be done to the Gentoo LVM installation document. The location of the LVM howto has changed from http://www.sistina.com/lvm_howtos/lvm_howto/ to http://tldp.org/HOWTO/LVM-HOWTO/ This needs to be changed in two locations in the document.
