As networkmanager and nm-applet 0.7.999 are (hard-masked) available, the above mentioned packages (which have been releases) should be updated as well. Otherwhise a emerge @preserved-rebuild will fail, as it tries to re-emerge the 0.7.2 versions of these packages, which don't compile against networkmanager 0.7.999. Would be great if somebody could provide working ebuilds for the two vpn plugins, version 0.7.999 (other plugins, such as pptp, might be affected as well) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Unmask networkmanager and nm-applet 0.7.999 2. Emerge them 3. Try to emerge @preserved-libs Actual Results: -vpnc and -openvpn plugins are only available as 0.7.2, which won't compile against nm 0.7.999 Expected Results: the plugins are available as 0.7.999 as well
