With my standard cflags celt does not build:
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon64-sse3 -mcx16 -msahf --param l1-cache-size=64 --param l1-cache-line-size=64 -w -pipe -floop-interchange -floop-strip-mine -floop-block"

If I remove the graphite specific flags (-floop-*) it does.

graphite has several known issues that won't be fixed in the 4.4 branch (because they aren't regressions).  FWIW, this particular ICE is fixed in 4.5.
