I've tried removing this file and starting it all again, but i got the same result.
I dont know if this is important, but the mirror used is http://crd.lbl.gov/~xiaoye/SuperLU//superlu_4.0.tar.gz

Please state in the Summary which overlay provides that package and reopen this bug report.

Sorry, i had not noticed it was from an overlay.
eix superlu says:

Where is it fixed ? i've updated the overlay and i still get the same error..?

it is fixed. you probably either have an old tar ball you should remove or your overlay was not updated properly.
