1) Start moonlight 2.0 application from http://www.expertgig.com/slsample/sl_z80emu/SL_Z80emuTestPage.html 2) Extract dll from the application to disk (there is only one dll there) 3) Download http://www.red-gate.com/products/reflector/ 4) Open dll with reflector 5) Walk through the dll for some time Result: All gnome desktop freezes. (Reproducible: always) It is impossible to attach any logs because of no access to system until hardware reboot (it is possible to connect through ssh from another computer, but nothing in /var/log/messages). I guess this is X hang. Please, provide emerge --info, tell us what driver do you use for X and check /var/log/Xorg.0.log for errors.

I really cant reproduce it (not that i could previously) but just for the sports Could you try latest stable things and report back if the issue is fixed? With kms migration all kinds of these should've been addressed.
