Description Michele Fabris 2010-01-24 22:26:29 UTC
gentoo 20100119, sys-kernel/genkernel-3.4.10.906,
genkernel compile all modules in /lib/modules/2.6.31-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/message/i2o/... , but /usr/share/genkernel/gen_initramfs.sh not include to initramfs. Probably /usr/share/genkenel/gen_moddeps.sh don't make a right "gen_dep_list"

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Reproducibity: All kind of server x86

I,m not be able load Gentoo on my Server FSC E200 with Raid controller Adaptec 2100

In order for the module to get included in the initramfs, it needs to be listed in /usr/share/genkernel/arch/x86/modules_load or be a dependency of a module already listed in there.

For me isn't easy follow the scripts shell and not be able understand from where
${!MODULES_*} load data.

Thank you
