sys-apps/module-init-tools-3.11.1 (and maybe other versions) fails to install /sbin/lsmod symlink to /bin/lsmod this symlink is necessary in order to run the new kernel make feature "make localmodconfig" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.cd /usr/src/linux 2.make localmodconfig 3. Actual Results: error 2 can't find /sbin/lsmod Expected Results: normal completion

this is by design. the kernel is broken for hardcoding the path.
