After building successfully linking to fec8-jinterf.o fails. Unfortunately I am not aware of anything to solve this.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to emerge dev-java/fec-1.0.4

Actual Results:  
Emerge fails.

Expected Results:  
Emerge should be successful.

amd64 system without multilib.

Any reason, why you assigned it to java team and did not let the bug-wranglers assign it to the maintainer of that ebuild?

Could you also test with simple *FLAGS like "-march=core2 -Os -pipe"?

No special reason. Just read somewhere that dev-java ebuilds belong to the Java category. I'm not used to the categorization practices in Gentoo bugzilla and I am sorry if this was a wrong assumption.

Unfortunately the problem also occurs with those simple flags.

So in the future leave it to the default, if you are not sure about the details. ;-)

I committed a fix to the ebuild, should be on your local rsync mirror, when you sync tomorrow.

If you choose the Java Component, it gets automatically assigned to us so no reason to blame users here.
