i really don't know if that's right, but when trying to compile bareftp-0.3.1, it complains about missing gnome-keyring-sharp, although it's installed. when speaking to the developer of bareftp, he told me:

"I know at least opensuse, ubuntu and archlinux uses a symlink there."

so should we do this too? or is this bug invalid and instead the developers should check for gnome-keyring-sharp-1.0.pc instead of gnome-keyring-sharp.pc?

compile fails

as the developer of bareftp told me, he will change the checks for future releases, i close this bug.
