Description Gus 2003-10-01 05:53:32 UTC
Using the "on-line package database" I get an "Internal Server Error".

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/pkgs/app-emacs/index.xml
2. Click the link named "querty"
3. See the error at http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/pkgs/app-emacs/qwerty.xml

Expected Results:
Should have seen the page with details for the app-emacs/querty package.
Comment 1 Kurt Lieber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-01 06:58:01 UTC
This is caused by the $HOMEPAGE setting in the ebuild.

Peitolm -- think we can adjust the pkgs.py script to handle @ signs and other
odd characters?
Comment 2 Kurt Lieber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-01 09:44:05 UTC
I'll figure it out.
Comment 3 Colin Morey (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-01 15:54:49 UTC
the script handled <, >, and & signs in the RDEPEND, DEPEND and license sections,
I've extended this into the homepage section, however I suspect that the
homepage is set wrong,
If i'm reading it correctly it should be a reference to a news posting in
the gnu.emacs.sources hierachy, and should be referenced as a news uri, but
I'm not 100% sure on that
Comment 4 Kurt Lieber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-18 14:16:04 UTC
this should be fixed. closing bug.
Comment 5 Gus 2003-10-19 23:58:11 UTC
And fixed it is.

Thanks a lot
