Well, I finally got Opera-10.50_pre6177 running, but it uses 100% of CPU all the time (to be exact, about 50/50 between opera and Xorg). Also, I cannot believe they have switched to static-qt releases again, the compiled-in qt doesn't detect and/or use my qt4 font, color or theme settings. I hope they are not using qt3 internally??? I'm going to remove Opera for good, at least from this laptop. 10.50 seems to be utter crap... (I'm sorry, I know this is not a proper bugreport, I just had to vent out my frustration with Opera somewhere)

Please read the labs and desktopteam blogs. > I'm going to remove Opera for good, at least from this laptop. 10.50 seems to > be utter crap... It's a bleedin' pre-alpha release - what did you f'ing expect? Stick to 10.10 if you want something reliable, and don't unmask versions that you don't trust. > (I'm sorry, I know this is not a proper bugreport, I just had to vent out my > frustration with Opera somewhere) Closing then. Reopen this bug report if you find you do have something useful to contribute to the Gentoo project.
