avidemux-0.9-r1 asks for divx4linux-20020418-r2, so when I do "emerge -uD world" it downgrades it. However, if I do "emerge -u world" after that, it upgrades it again to 20030428-r1.
Please use avidemux2 if possible. The <1 series is not maintained any more and the new versions are more stable and contain new features too. IMHO avidemux should work with a newer version of divx so the ebuild should be updated (and we could add some einfo pointing to avidemux2) Cheers, Marc
You suggest me updating to avidemux2 (which I've already done), but it's masked... how about removing the mask and using KEYWORDS="x86"? Without doing this, when I do "emerge -uD world" it pretends to downgrade it. And the downgraded version requires the old divx4linux...
Martin committed 2.0.16 one month ago. Perhaps he can comment on this?

Ok, then let's close this bug as "wontfix" and martin can remove that ~.
