I changed a bunch of the redundant kernel version checking to a single function that accepts options, and moved it all to xfree.eclass. I'll attach a diff to nvidia-kernel ebuild to use this.

We'll look at this again once the functions resemble those in /sbin/functions.sh.

The nvidia drivers' ebuilds now are completely different. This patch isn't relevant anymore. Closing
