Description Per Wigren 2003-09-29 15:36:11 UTC
An example line from /var/db/pkg/dev-perl/HTML-Parser-3.31/CONTENTS:

obj /var/tmp/portage/perl-5.8.0-r12/image/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i686-linux/HTML/Parser.pm 65e8721de4ec5759fbaaf0211f4530be 1064873414

This in turn makes quite a lot of modules unusably because they depend on HTML::Parser, most noticably xmltv which is used by freevo.

Is this related? I did an emerge -U Mail-SpamAssassin, and the result was
a broken installation:

# spamassassin
Can't locate HTML/Parser.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i686-linux
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0 /etc/perl /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i686-linux
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0 /usr/local/lib/site_perl
.) at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/Mail/SpamAssassin/HTML.pm line 7.
...

a re-emerge on HTML-Parser solved this problem.

Fixed to install in the vendordir in 3.34-r1
