I wanted to be prepared for doing a complete recompilation of my system so I decided to download everthing first. Unfortunately the package libglade (which is installed with two versions) failed to download a file named libglade-0.17.tar.bz2 By having a closer look at the portage tree I found that there is a file named libglade-0.17.tar.gz So I searched the tree for the specific .bz2 ending and found one in /usr/portage/metadata/cache/gnome-base/libglade-0.17-r6 Unfortunately changing this file did not resolve the problem and I am not familiar enough with the portage tree to have any idea where the problem could be.
