Module::Build is not configured with C_support at /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/Module/Build/Base.pm line 4266.

Running a stable system with this for Module-Build:

It is installed:
[I] perl-core/ExtUtils-CBuilder
     Available versions:  0.19 ~0.23 ~0.24 ~0.25 ~0.26 ~0.26.01 ~0.26.02 0.26.03 ~0.27
     Installed versions:  0.26.03(05:08:49 PM 11/27/2009)

     Description:         Compile and link C code for Perl modules

/usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/ExtUtils/CBuilder.pm exists?

(Please attach `qlist -e perl-core/ExtUtils-CBuilder` too.)

The package was installed, but that file wasn't there. I remerged the package, now that file is there and File-Spec installed as expected. I don't know how that file got deleted. I don't really use perl that much, it is just a dependency for me, so I've never tried to customize the install or anything.

Nothing I can do anymore as I don't know what was wrong before reinstalling EU::CBuilder.
